Dr Kyriakos Neofytou

Short Bio

Dr Kyriakos Neophytou completed his medical degree at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and obtained his master's degree in Molecular Biology from the Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Cyprus. In 2018 he completed his doctorate at the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. After completing his training in General Surgery (2013), he continued his training and specialization in Surgical Oncology and Liver-Gallbladder-Pancreatic Surgery (2013-2014) at the Department of Academic Surgery, Royal Marsden Hospital, London, United Kingdom. Dr Kyriakos Neophytou has been based at the American Medical Center since 2015 and deals with the full range of surgical diseases that fall into his speciality (eg Liver-Bile-Pancreatic Diseases, Stomach Diseases, Intestinal Diseases, Abdominal Wall Diseases, etc.). In addition to open surgery, Dr Neophytou specializes in Laparoscopic Surgery. He has participated in over forty (40) publications in recognized international medical journals and he has also participated in dozens of international conferences where he has presented more than 100 scientific papers.
