Dr. Farmakis studied at Saarland University and was trained as a Doctor of Nuclear Medicine, while he is an examiner for the acquisition of PET certificate with the German Society of Nuclear Medicine. He is the cofounder of a Nuclear Medicine Center in Bremen, Germany. Dr. Farmakis is a member of the European Association of Nuclear Medicine, German Society of Nuclear Medicine, Professional Association of German Nuclear Physicians and North German Society for Nuclear Medicine.
